The Lost Children and the Father’s Love
How we were deceived, how we are tormented, and how Jesus sets us free.
1) Created for Sonship
In the beginning, God created man and woman in His image. We were made for relationship, joy, and honor as children of God—to walk with Him in the beauty of Eden.
“God created man in His own image.” — Genesis 1:27
2) The Serpent’s Deception in Eden
Lucifer, once an angel of light, rebelled against God and became Satan—the adversary. Entering Eden as a serpent, he lied to Eve, pointing to the forbidden fruit and promising a false path to wisdom and power.
“In the day you eat of it you shall surely die.” — Genesis 2:17
3) How Satan & Demons Torture Humanity
Since Eden, Satan and his fallen angels (demons) work to keep people away from God. Their methods include:
- Temptation: Luring into addictions, immorality, greed, and pride.
- Deception: Blinding minds with lies, counterfeit spirituality, and confusion about identity.
- Bondage: Enslaving hearts with fear, guilt, shame, and hopelessness.
- Oppression: Stirring violence, hatred, and spiritual darkness; afflicting body and soul.
“The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy.” — John 10:10
4) God Came to Rescue Us
God did not abandon His children. The eternal Word became man—Jesus Christ—to seek and save the lost.
“In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was God… and the Word became flesh.” — John 1:1,14
“The Son of God appeared to destroy the works of the devil.” — 1 John 3:8
5) Your Invitation: Freedom and Sonship
Through Jesus, you can be forgiven, delivered, and restored to your true identity as a son or daughter of God. This is not mere religion—it is a living relationship with the Father.
Pray This from Your Heart
“Father in Heaven, I confess I am a sinner and I have been deceived. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again. I renounce Satan and his works. Lord Jesus, forgive me, wash me, and set me free. Make me Your child and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
