Red Horse - The Prophesy of the Revelation

🔥 “The Red Horse of War – When Peace is Taken from the Earth”

Text: Revelation 6:3–4 (KJV)

“And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

🔓 I. Introduction – The Unsealing of Judgment

Beloved, we live in a time of prophetic acceleration. The book of Revelation is not a code to fear but a light to follow. It reveals not only the future but heaven’s interpretation of earthly events.

When the Lamb opens the seals, it is not Satan that brings these things—it is Christ Himself revealing what must come to pass. The Second Seal unleashes the Red Horse, a rider of conflict, division, and destruction.

Let us explore this symbol, this spirit, and how it speaks to the world we live in today.

🐎 II. The Meaning of the Red Horse

🔴 A. The Color Red – The Color of Blood

Red in Scripture is symbolic of:

  • Bloodshed (Genesis 9:6)
  • Violence and war (Isaiah 63:2–3)
  • Wrath and divine judgment

This is not simply a war between nations. It is a spiritual atmosphere of violence, a tearing apart of peace.

🗡️ B. The Rider's Mission – To Take Peace

“And power was given to him… to take peace from the earth…”

This is not about who fights whom, but what is removedpeace itself.

This is a spirit of unrest:

  • Civil wars erupt
  • Families are divided
  • Nations collapse internally
  • Even churches split

It is not just global conflict, but the loss of peace within men’s hearts.

Jesus prophesied this in Matthew 24:6–7:

“Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars… for nation shall rise against nation…”

⚔️ C. The Great Sword – Authority to Kill

The sword in the Bible represents:

  • Authority (Romans 13:4)
  • Judgment and execution
  • Spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:17)

The rider is given a great sword—a symbol that his impact will be massive, not local. Entire continents will feel the weight of this warfare—physically, politically, and spiritually.

🌍 III. Prophetic Relevance Today

We are already seeing the shadows of the Red Horse:

1. Wars & Conflicts Rising

  • Ongoing battles in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa
  • Nuclear threats and unstable alliances
  • Cyber warfare and terrorism becoming the new battlefield

2. Peace Removed from Societies

  • Division in families and communities (Luke 12:51–53)
  • Civil unrest, political polarization
  • Trust in leadership and institutions eroding

3. Even the Church Feels It

  • Doctrinal disputes turn to hatred
  • Love of many growing cold (Matthew 24:12)
  • The sword of division is cutting even spiritual relationships

🕊️ IV. The Church’s Response – Standing in True Peace

Even in the midst of the Red Horse’s ride, we are not to fear, for we belong to another kingdom.

💠 A. Christ Is Still in Control

  • The Lamb opens the seals—not the devil.
  • Jesus is sovereign even over judgment (Revelation 5:5)

💠 B. Be a Carrier of Peace

  • “Blessed are the peacemakers…” (Matthew 5:9)
  • We must preserve peace through humility, love, and truth

💠 C. War in the Spirit, Not in the Flesh

  • “We wrestle not against flesh and blood…” (Ephesians 6:12)
  • Intercession and spiritual warfare are our weapons—not hate, not politics

🙏 V. Closing Charge – Prepare, Pray, and Preach

The Red Horse may ride, but we are the light of the world.

Let this message stir in you:

  • Watchfulness – Know the signs of the times
  • Faithfulness – Stay rooted in God’s Word
  • Boldness – Preach repentance and the kingdom of God

This is not the time to be lukewarm. It is time to rise in the Spirit.

🛐 Altar Call / Ministry Time

“Are you at peace with God? Have you let the world’s chaos rob you of inner peace?”

Let the Lord restore His shalom in your heart. Come forward, receive prayer, and let the Prince of Peace reign in your life—even in the storm.

A Topic for Seven Seals

White Horse - The Prophesy of the Revelation

The First Seal – The White Horse: False Peace and Conquest

Text: Revelation 6:1–2 (KJV)

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”

🔍 I. Prophetic Background

The Seven Seals are found in Revelation Chapter 6—a series of judgments that unfold when the Lamb of God (Jesus Christ) opens a scroll sealed with seven divine seals. These events mark the unveiling of end-time mysteries, each seal releasing a new level of global and spiritual transformation.

The First Seal releases a rider on a white horse—but this is not Christ (unlike Revelation 19), but a false christ, a counterfeit conqueror who brings deceptive peace.

🎯 II. Symbolic Breakdown

1. The White Horse

  • White symbolizes purity, victory, and righteousness—but here it's a deceptive appearance.
  • This imitator comes in the guise of peace and righteousness but is a false savior.

2. The Rider with a Bow

  • He has a weapon, but no arrows—this implies conquest without war: through manipulation, diplomacy, and deceit.
  • A symbol of strategic takeover, not brute force.

3. A Crown Was Given to Him

  • The crown was given, not earned—showing that power is permitted (by God) for a purpose.
  • He is allowed to rise for a season, just as Pharaoh or the Antichrist is allowed in prophecy.

4. Went Forth Conquering and to Conquer

  • Ongoing conquest—he spreads his influence globally.
  • Represents the rise of false peace, religious deception, and global dominion agendas.

⚠️ III. The Spirit Behind the First Seal

This is a spirit of deception, preparing the world for the ultimate false messiah (Antichrist). It aligns with:

  • Matthew 24:5“For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:9–11 – Strong delusion sent to those who reject truth.
  • Daniel 8:25“By peace shall he destroy many.”

This rider may appear as a savior, a unifier, a world leader, or even a religious reformer, but he is fueled by the spirit of the age—one of apostasy, compromise, and counterfeit unity.

🛡️ IV. Application for the Church

The body of Christ must:

  1. Discern True vs. False Peace

    • Beware of compromise masked as unity.
    • Real peace is found in Christ alone (John 14:27).
  2. Guard Against Religious Deception

    • Anchor doctrine in Scripture—not in personality, popularity, or signs (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
  3. Prepare for the Unfolding Judgments

    • We are not to fear, but to watch, pray, and remain faithful (Luke 21:36).

🙌 V. Prayer for Discernment

“Father, in these prophetic times, give us eyes to see and ears to hear. Let us not be seduced by counterfeit peace or be swayed by charismatic deception. Clothe us with discernment and keep us anchored in Your truth. Amen.”
